Reiki is a method to  consciously connect our energy and enter into active communication with  it to receive, deliver 
and transmit it. REI is Japanese  for Universal Energy and KI is the vital energy.
The universal energy is the energy of the whole, is the  energy of the ONE, is the energy of creation, the party 
perceptible to  us of Light, Love and Divine Power. Life  energy is the energy that permeates and surrounds all living 
body or not.
Reiki is a system of  healing through energy and  is told Japanese Mikao Usui rediscovered by  Monaco in the XIX th 
century. Usui taught Christian  theology at the University of Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. 
He devoted himself to  deepen the study of Christianity to understand how Christ worked his  healing but could not find 
an answer. Left for northern India  in search of some holy texts written in Sanskrit, but still remain  unanswered. 
Buddhism deepened, and  finally consulting the Sutras (ancient Buddhist texts) found the answer. He found the symbols 
and  formulas to practice the healing, but he lacked the activation of these. Went for twenty-one days  in meditation on 
the sacred mountain of Kuryjama carrying sutras. At the twenty-first day  here is the answer I had waited so long! 
A beam of light struck  his forehead. 
 
The beam of light is  transformed into a rainbow which was inscribed the ancient symbols and  letters in Sanskrit. 
The experience was the  dawn of Usui Reiki, it was the beginning of this great healing power, so  simple and so

THREE LEVELS

Reiki is activated byi nitiations , each individual is put in a position to channel Reiki energy for himself, for others, situations, throughout the world.
